Animal Ministry Deacon

This is the course recommended for those new to Animal Ministry, and those who are in the capacity of a lay person.  When we say "new" we are speaking about those of you who have not taken any courses in Animal Advocacy or Animal Ministry previously.

Also, keep in mind, when we use the term "ministry" we are using the term in a literal sense ~ meaning, "ministering" to others, specifically those in the animal kingdom ~ not in terms of providing any ordination into religious service.  This course is especially good for those wanting to volunteer their time with animals, or assist within an organization serving the animal kingdom, or in their local church or temple.

Within this curriculum you will be required to complete a set of ten (10) lessons, along with required reading, viewing and listening of several products listed below, required for course completion.  Please note, you can find most, if not all, books & CDs at your local library, and the DVD is free from the HSUS.

Prerequisite:  proof of association with animal organization or faith-related organization
